Accenture Opens A Liquid Studio In Toronto

Professional services firm Accenture has disclosed that it is opening a Liquid Studio in the Canadian city of Toronto. This is part of the firm’s strategy to invest in innovation in order to ensure that clients are able to collaborate with talent from Accenture with a view to turning ideas into solutions and useable applications with a fast turnaround time.

Toronto’s liquid studio is among several other initiatives that Accenture has started in Canada. Others include investments which have been made with a view to expanding training and hiring as well as driving local innovation.

“Continuous innovation is imperative to driving Canadian growth and competitiveness, and we will be working closely with our Canadian clients at the Liquid Studio to use new technologies and ways of working to solve their most significant business challenges,” said Accenture Technology Canada’s managing director, Steve Convey.

Rapid development approaches

At the Liquid Studio innovation is accelerated by use of rapid development approaches and this includes DevOps and Agile methodologies. This also includes application of disruptive technologies namely serverless architectures, blockchain and artificial intelligence. Consequently clients are able to enjoyed reduced development time as it can be cut from a couple of months to just a number of days. This also reduces the amount of time it takes for solutions to have an impact on the business.

Supplementing the Liquid Studio’s capabilities in Toronto will be the alliance ecosystem of Accenture, startups as well as entities such as Vector Institute. The launch of Toronto’s Liquid Studio comes in the wake of Accenture being recognized by Forrester Research as a leader among Salesforce implementation partners across the world. In getting the recognition the professional services firm got the highest scores in partner ecosystem, innovation roadmap, market approach, prebuilt intellectual property and business transformation. And being the biggest Salesforce Services provider in the world, Accenture was also recognized for its high score in skills criteria and client experience.
